MEET DR. HUAYI ZHANG
Dr. Huayi Zhang is a board-certified medical dermatologist specializing in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancers, as well as other disorders of the skin and nails, for patients of all skin types. She is trained in advanced surgical techniques and the latest cosmetic treatments for restoring and maintaining youth and beauty, such as injectables for reducing wrinkles and fine lines, microneedling, skin rejuvenation, chemical peels, and more.
Dr. Zhang is committed to improving patient care through research and education. Dr. Zhang’s leadership in education has led to numerous journal articles, book chapter publications, and a host of awards. She is dedicated to providing care and helping patients achieve their true potential by improving overall health and well-being.
Dr. Zhang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a proud member of numerous other national and local organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society.

Hi, I’m Dr. Huayi Zhang. I’m a board certified dermatologist and the founder of Bluebonnet Dermatology. When I opened my practice in 2020, my goal was simple. I wanted to create an environment where patients could receive comprehensive skincare. We offer the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. I treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections with emphasis on skin cancer prevention and skin cancer surgeries. I also specialize in cosmetic dermatology, including injectables, microneedling, chemical peels, and much more. The focus is always to use medical technology and techniques to achieve natural and beautiful results. My approach towards patient care is simple. I want to combine clinical expertise with clear explanations so that every patient understands their diagnosis, their treatment options, and what outcomes to expect. Skin Cancer Awareness: What You Should Know
Speaker 1: Did you know that the most common forms of skin cancer do not look dark? In fact, less than one out of every 10 cases of skin cancer is melanoma. Why does this matter?
Speaker 2: It matters because the more common skin cancers don’t look the same as melanoma, and you need to know what to look for.
Speaker 3: Patients with basal or squamous cell carcinoma often think they have a pimple or a sore, which just isn’t healing.
Speaker 4: So while melanoma tends to look like a dark spot that keeps changing and doesn’t look like the rest of the moles on the body,
